SmartServ Completes Acquisition of Prepaid Telcom Distributor KPCCD, Inc.; The acquisition is expected to contribute to record revenues for the company, adding over $2 million in monthly revenue
PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SmartServ Online, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: SSRV) , a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that provides mobile phone service with the best in low cost pre-paid minute plans and the latest in mobile content, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of KPCCD, Inc., a New York City-based distributor of international prepaid calling cards.
The KPCCD acquisition is expected to contribute to record revenues for the company, adding over $2 million in monthly revenue.
KPCCD distributes prepaid calling cards through a network of hundreds of retail outlets along the East Coast. A UPHONIA(TM) international long distance calling card will soon be introduced via KPCCD's distributor network, in addition to the recently announced family of UPHONIA prepaid mobile phone products.
